Last week we had the largest snowstorm in the Washington, D.C, since official records have been kept. The flakes began to fall around 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, and continued without letup until around 11 p.m. Saturday, snowing very heavily much of the time, with high winds. Here's my own low-tech version of time-lapse photography, a series of photos taken every few hours from my front door, looking across the front yard to my Little Free Library as it quickly became nearly buried in the stuff.
