Wow. I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted. The string of illnesses did not end! At the moment, my son and I both have bad colds, but that's all. Annoying, but not serious. But I had fallen so far behind that I was determined not to write again until I had sent the MySpace book outline and first chapter to the editor. They've been sent, so I'm back!

A wrap-up of the last month:

First my son had a bad cold. Then he had pink eye. Then I had a bad cold. Then my husband had pink eye. Then my son had an icky stomach virus. Then my husband had a bad cold. Then I had the flu.

Every time I relax and tell myself our string of illnesses has ended, someone else comes down with another one. But I'm hoping it's really almost over this time. My husband still has his cold, and I'm still coughing like crazy. But today is the first day in weeks that everybody in the household has been well enough to carry on with normal activities. Certainly it's the first day in more than a week that I've been good for anything but lying on the couch working my way through Kleenex box after Kleenex box.

Now to catch up on all the things I was forced to neglect in the past few weeks....
