I'm not sure I'll have time to post in the morning, so I thought I'd say bye now. Bye! I'm leaving for Louisiana tomorrow and will be gone for six days. My husband and son will be holding down the fort here. I still do not own a laptop, so I may or may not be able to check my e-mail or post any entries while I'm gone, depending on hotel internet access. If not, I'll see y'all online next week!

Now, I've got to finish packing....

Who Am I?

I am a published author of 28 books for children and young adults, a former magazine editor, and mom to a kindergartener. My published works include 20 books for Sweet Valley High and other teen fiction series, all written under pseudonyms. My nonfiction kids' books, written under my own name, are on topics ranging from Dragons to Stonehenge to the Cherokee Indians. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, drawing, traveling, overthrowing the governments of small countries, befriending dragons, slaying demons, and picking out Legos from under the couch.
