A few weeks ago (March 20) I posted a photo of a house in Tennessee that's shaped like a flying saucer. Now, here's a new one: a house that's designed to look upside down! This house, in Syzmbark, Poland, is supposedly a commentary on the instability and backwardness of Poland's former Communist era. OK, I get that. But it's also just plain cool.

Are we looking at the same photo? The one of the upside-down house? On my screen, it takes up the whole column.

Who Am I?

I am a published author of 28 books for children and young adults, a former magazine editor, and mom to a kindergartener. My published works include 20 books for Sweet Valley High and other teen fiction series, all written under pseudonyms. My nonfiction kids' books, written under my own name, are on topics ranging from Dragons to Stonehenge to the Cherokee Indians.
