Retrospective for the Year: Books Read in 2011

December 30th, 2011 (12:32 am)
sleepy

current mood: sleepy

On the Library Thing website, I joined a discussion group with a goal of reading 75 books in 2011. I've added up my totals for the year (minus any I may have forgotten to write down at the time) and found that in 2011, I read 159 books.

Some of these are short kids' or YA books I was reading so that I could discuss them with my son. (Others are kids' books I was reading just because I wanted to.) And some are weightier tomes. Most are somewhere in between. Most of the books I've read this year are fiction, but some nonfiction books are scattered throughout. And some of these are books I've read before - in some cases, many times before. Here is my list, roughly in reverse order of when I read them (December is first). I'm breaking this arbitrarily into groups of 10, to ease reading. The groupings don't mean any more than that.
