I have more photos from the NFPW Conference I attended in Council Bluffs, Iowa, this month. On Thursday evening, September 8, we attended a reception in Omaha, Nebraska, just across the Missouri River from Council Buffs.

The spectacular  Durham Museum hosted us in its magnificent Art Deco space, converted from a grand old railroad station.

In addition to being treated to a lot of laughs from mother-daughter comedian team Joan and Juli Burney, we were allowed to roam the museum -- as the only guests there that evening -- to see displays on local history and transportation. A temporary exhibit spotlighted the life and achievements of George Washington Carver, who was even more impressive than I'd thought.

Here is a sampling of photographs from the event.

More photos to come later.
